Les Folies de L'amour are an award winning cabaret, burlesque and French can-can dance troupe based in Wellington, NZ. The members of the troupe bring a diverse range of dance styles including jazz, latin, cheerleaders, gymnastics, burlesque and cabaret; and many are well known solo performers in their own right. Together they bring you an amazing style of performances including French can-can, cabaret, jazz, burlesque and showgirl routines.
They were voted favourite group in the NZ Burlesque Festival Golden Garter awards 2013. They are available to be booked for public and private events.

Beginner French can-can workshops
Courtney L'amour is an international burlesque performer, pin-up model, dance choreographer and cabaret show-girl. She formed the successful French can-can troupe Les Folies de L'amour in Wellington, New Zealand. She teaches workshops on the basics of French Can-Can open to the general public. It is fantastic exercise and so much fun!
The Can-Can is known for chorus line high kicks, provocative movements and sumptuous skirts (perfect for bringing your friends). Courtney will take us through and hour and a half of this lively dance, and shall have you giggling (and puffing a bit) in delight.
